An extensive selection of careers events and employability workshops for current students and Newport graduates already have been run this year, in particular with cohorts from Film and Video, Engineering, Community Health, and Primary Studies; an extensive range of future commitments can be found at http://tinyurl.com/667lya8

A  successful Volunteering and Placement Fair was run in October.  In addition, Employer in the Foyers have been run on both campuses with recruiters engaging directly with our students.  More of the same to follow in coming weeks with contributions to Money Week and a Teaching Fair in December.  Full details of the larger events can be found at http://outsidelearning.newport.ac.uk/mod/resource/view.php?id=3749
Careers newsletters are regularly sent to students; our vacancy advertising service has just been upgraded and we require all jobseekers to re-register.  Note students can search for vacancies we promote via http://newport.prospects.ac.uk/

We regularly update our students on jobs, opportunities, awards and competitions and urge them to follow Newportcareers on Twitter and Facebook.
Whilst we have a comprehensive online service and a physical presence at Caerleon we are also available for Drop Ins at the City Centre Campus most Wednesday mornings, in the Learning Centre.  Additional support sessions can be arranged and we would welcome the exploration of further opportunities to engage with learners directly through their programme of study.
