CDEL Launches IT Induction website for all new and returning students.
As part of the University's ongoing commitment to improving the student experience, CDEL has developed a new IT Induction website for all new and returning students at the University of Wales, Newport.
The site contains everything students need in order to get started in using the university's web based portal, which itself has been revamped this year in a join project between the IT department, it's web development team and CDEL.
The site has also been optimised for viewing on a mobile phone and will change it's appearance dynamically to provide the best possible user experience depending on how students choose to access it. For students choosing to access it on their smartphones it will transform from a website into a mobile web app, allowing them to access all of the IT induction resources no matter where they are.
A QR code directing students to make use of the site has been incorporated into their paper based induction packs and during the university's enrolment period CDEL will be running drop in workshops for any students who require face to face help and support.
